Jan Bitter is employed as a scientific research assistant at the Cybernetic-Cluster IMA/ZLW & IfU since April 2015.

From July 2013 to December 2015 he was, interrupted by a seven-month stay abroad at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, already active as a student research assistant at the Cybernetic-Cluster.

In November 2015 he obtained his Master of Science degree in Business Administration & Engineering for Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Textile Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. His academic focus in the technical field was fiber-reinforced-composites and in the economic sciences, sustainability management.

His scientific focuses are sustainability- and profitability analysis as well as renewable energies.
