Kick-Off D:v:lop: Digital Competence Development in Industry 4.0

In order to keep pace with the technological innovations of industry 4.0, manufacturing companies have been investing more and more in personnel development and digital media for work-related competence development for years. The provision of these digitized learning opportunities alone is no guarantee for the success of the learner. In order to achieve a noticeable improvement in the learning success, companies must use digital media subject- and target group-specific. The ZLW and IfU of the Cybernetics Lab are developing process models to promote the organizational development of the companies Daimler, Garlock and 3win in order to promote a digital learning culture and strengthen media competency. On June 29, the kick-off of the BMBF-funded project d:v:lop (Digital and virtual learning cultures in organizations of the production sector) will take place in a new era of competence development. The components of a modern digital learning culture are collected based on a precise needs analysis at the participating partners and individual learning environment concepts and learning games are developed, implemented and evaluated adressing different target, age and professional groups. The documentation and publication of the results in practice-oriented guides as well as the self-evaluation tool developed in the course of the project ensure, with the help of recommendations for action, the trans-sectoral transfer into other operational fields of action.
